Mizuki Nishiyama is a painter currently based in New York City and a student at Parsons. She started out painting as a way to create a visual diary of her life experiences, and creates work that loosely identifies with the human experience, specifically vulnerability, and raw humanistic emotions. She’s been involved in group shows in Brooklyn (Greenpoint Gallery), been published in art magazines (Positive Magazine, Neocha, Driftwood Press), and recently exhibited in downtown Manhattan.
