Poet icon Amiri Baraka was interviewed by Rebecca Melnyk in the 2011 edition of 12th Street. On May 9, 2011, at the Barnes & Noble launch of the 2011 journal, he read his controversial poem, “Somebody Blew Up America”. The audio below was recorded live by 12th Street Editor-in-Chief Jennifer Sky.
